Fusion - the state of being combined into one body; merging, uniting. At ECC we believe youth are to be part of and involved in the life of the local church on every level. We desire to dismantle the traditional models of "youth ministry", by creating a culture of inclusion and equipping that will ultimately produce on fire teenagers that have a Kingdom vision. We believe that the Fusion of young and older is in the heart of God and is clearly modeled in the New Testament by Paul and Timothy, and the outcome is a local body that is multi-generational. The teens at ECC serve in the local body in many capacities such as, sound, worship team, food pantry ministry, children's ministry etc, right along side others in the body. Our teens gather together on Friday evenings at 7pm, and enjoy times of fellowship, worship, prayer, teaching and encouragement. We typically plan and do community outreaches involving sending teams out onto the street to pray and minister to people. We have seen the teens experience amazing things together as they trust God and reach outside themselves to impact others with the Gospel. Pictures from Fusion: Here |
